The 4-star Domaine du Koukano campsite is open from the first weekend of the summer vacations to the last weekend of August for tourist stays. Weddings and seminars are held on the estate from early March to early July, and from late August to early November, offering a green setting for every season.

What shops are nearby?

The village of Lavaur, 13 km from Domaine du Koukano, has all the shops and services you need: supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, boutiques and restaurants. The campsite is within easy reach by car, perfect for shopping or enjoying a stroll through town.

Are there any sporting activities nearby?

Yes, the Carcassonne region offers a wide choice of activities: hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, canoeing on the Canal du Midi, or cycling in the rolling landscapes of the Tarn and Aude rivers. Nature lovers will also appreciate the walks around the estate’s lake.

What services are available on the campsite?

The campsite has a snack bar open from 8.30am to 2pm and again from 3pm to 10.30pm, ideal for breakfast or quick meals, and a restaurant open in the evening from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Several themed evenings are organized each week (mussels and French fries, burger, paella, pizza…), usually on Thursdays, with reservations. You’ll also find a board game lending service, a free pool table, a TV room and a children’s play area.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed in the chalets and pitches for a supplement of €5 per night. The estate’s large natural park provides the perfect setting for walks with your four-legged friends.

Is there Wi-Fi at the campsite?

The Domaine du Koukano has opted for a disconnected stay: no Wi-Fi is offered in the vacation areas to encourage rest, relaxation and social contact between vacationers. Parents particularly appreciate this break for their teenagers. However, a fully-equipped teleworking room will be open next season, and a guest Wi-Fi network is already available for business seminars.
